Level 3 or 4 scores mean that students demonstrate the skills expected for that grade. Level 3 or 4 scores are counted as meeting standard in that subject area. A student must be proficient in all four areas in order to exit the program. If a student is not yet proficient but making sufficient progress to exit the program within 6 years, they are considered making progress. Exclusion Days Rate is calculated by counting the number of distinct students who have received an out-of-school exclusionary action for a given exclusion length timespan and dividing that count by the number of distinct students who were ospi report card. Exclusion lengths are calculated by summing up the total number of days a student is excluded during the school year.

This measure represents the cumulative exclusion days per student for those with one or more exclusions during the school year, ospi report card. This figure shows the ratio of teachers and students. The ratio of teachers and students is based on the count of classroom teachers and student enrollment count. This is one of the key indicators to ensuring there are an adequate number of classroom teachers for the number of students.

This graph shows the distribution of classroom teachers by years of teaching experience 5 years range. The distribution shows the most common number of years of teaching experience and lowest and highest number of years of teaching experience in a school or district.

The classroom teachers by certificate type shows the percent of classroom teachers who hold a full certificate s or limited certificate s. Classroom teachers who hold both a full certificate and limited certificate were only counted as a full certificate holder. Also shown is the percent of classroom teachers with a National Board Certification. National Board Certification is ospi report card voluntary, ospi report card, advanced teaching credential; it complements, but does not replace, Washington state's teacher license and is designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers, as well as, generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.

The classroom teachers by limited certificate type shows the percent of classroom teachers who hold a limited certificate s. A classroom teacher who holds multiple limited certificates was counted once for each certificate type, ospi report card.

Classroom teachers who hold both full certificate and limited certificate were also counted once for each certificate type. This graph shows the percent of teachers who hold a Master's degree or a higher degree.

Educational level can be one of the indicators of a teacher's academic achievement and depth of content knowledge. This graph shows the percent of teachers who had fewer than or equal to five 5. A high percent in one of these qualifications may suggest a need for teacher support, mentoring, retention, induction, professional learning, or recruitment. This graph displays the proportion of student enrollment of five different ranges by teacher qualification within the local education agency. This graph can be used to ensure teachers are equitably allocated based on student enrollment per student group.

This graph displays the percent of courses taught at each teacher qualification level. This graph can be used for planning and rearranging course assignments for teachers and for planning teacher support, professional learning and development, and retooling. This graphshows the percent of Principals and Other School Leaders who had fewer than or equal to five 5.

Inexperienced principals are defined as principals and vice-principals and other school leaders are defined as superintendents, directors, and supervisors. This information can be used for planning teacher support, mentoring, retention, induction, professional learning, or recruitment. Yellow indicates the expenditure of federal dollars.

Blue indicates the expenditure of state dollars. These numbers are based on our financial information as reported by school districts. The graph above shows the estimated per-pupil expenditures by activities. These per-pupil amounts are estimated based on district reported data. OSPI used a uniform allocation method to estimate the per-pupil amounts.

OSPI will use this method to report per-pupil expenditures until the end of the school year. Initially released in March and updated in April ofthe Washington School Improvement Framework identifies ospi report card schools can improve the education of all students. The Framework combines as many as nine indicators such as graduation rates, attendance, and proficiency on state tests in math and English language arts into a score, ospi report card.

The school's score then determines the state supports for the school to improve.
